My students have competed in different technology related activities from Computer Science UIL to Esports. My students have also participated in the local Student Technology Conference held by the Educational Service Center at Region One.

Teachers require adequate training when it comes to technology. La Joya ISD Technology Department created an academy where staff can join and learn about Google, Apple, and Microsoft products. This year long academy includes one continuous week with several followup sessions culminating in a video project at the end of the year.
