Description

"This course examines the cognitive domains of learning and the corresponding research in web-based multimedia. It provides a theoretical construct by which distance educators can infuse learner-centered principles and examine the possibilities for streaming media in online education." -UTRGV

Projects

Project 1: Creating Infographics.

Overview: "Create and communicate a complex idea through a content-rich infographic designed to inform or convince using text, data, and graphics."

Project 2: Creating a ScreenCast.

Overview: "Implement appropriate educational technologies and processes to create an instructional screencast to teach people how to perform a specific skill or function on a computer or mobile device."

Project 3: Storyboarding a Multimedia-Rich Microlearning Object.

Overview: "Use appropriate educational technologies and processes to develop a storyboard to map out a multimedia-rich microlearning object to address a real-world instructional/training need or opportunity for a specific audience."

Project 4: Creating a Multimedia-Rich Microlearning Object.

Overview: "Design and develop a multimedia-rich microlearning object to address a real-world instructional/training need or opportunity for a specific audience."
