Projects

Project 1: Developing the Project Proposal.

Overview: "Develop an online course using the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS). Your course will include a Syllabus and 4 lesson modules. Each lesson module will include the following elements: Overview, Multimedia Presentation, Assignment, Discussion Question, and Assessment."

Project 2: Developing the Course Syllabus.

Overview: "Develop a course description and outline for your online course. A syllabus is an outline and summary of topics to be covered in a course. It usually contains specific information about the course; information on how to contact the instructor, an outline of what will be covered in the course, with a schedule of test dates and the due dates for assignments; the grading policy for the course; and specific classroom rules."

Project 3: Developing the Project Proposal.

Overview: "Designing the user interface for your online course. The user interface is the part of a software application that a user sees and interacts with through menus, checkboxes, and hyperlinks. A well-developed course requires a user interface that is easy to use and understand. The better the design of the user interface, the easier it will be for users to navigate through the program."

Project 4: Developing Content.

Overview: "Add content and assignments to the four lesson modules."

Project 5: Designing Assessments.

Overview: "Develop the quizzes for each of your four lessons."

Project 6: Creating Multimedia.

Overview: "Each lesson should have at least one multimedia presentation (a video) that includes a mix of sound, graphics, and text elements."
