"This course provides the teacher/trainer with the skills and conceptual knowledge for instructional design and development of student-centered learning activities in learning environments. The course also addresses critical issues in the instructional design and development process, including effective modifications of instruction that uses advanced technologies for special needs students, and mentoring other faculty members." -UTRGV

Student-Centered Learning.

Overview: "[A] case for student-centered learning on the job, and at the same time to propose the idea of establishing a professional development program focused on student-centered learning strategies. "

Self-Directed Proposal.

Overview: "Identify a professional learning need or opportunity, preferably on an Educational Technology-related topic, and find/select a program that enables you to earn a certificate or credential after completing a prescribed program of study."

Instructional Unit 3.

Overview: "Document your experiences and lessons learned through the self-directed professional learning plan you developed in Project 2 that culminated in the issuance of a professional credential, certificate, or digital badge."
